For contact purposes, you can always find me here, or PM Esca's journal. WHICHEVER. I'll probably respond relatively quick.
Threadhopping/threadjacking with this character?: Go for it, man.
Backtagging/backdating with this character?: Yes, please. If something's up and you wanna backdate shit, be my guest. Just note that I have a tendency to drop threads if it looks like the thread is done. If you feel like it wasn't, though, or had something else planned for it later on, feel free to drop me a note and I'll start the thread up again.
Hugging this character?: Go ahead! Esca will, depending who you are, stare at you confused until you stop, or push you off.
Giving this character a kiss?: See above. You don't have to ask my permission, of course, but most likely you won't get any tongue. Esca is too emotionally stunted for, well, displays of emotions.
Something more intimate?: We'll see! It depends! Ask first! Honestly, if I think things are going in that direction, I'll probably contact you first.
Relationships?: Not really part of my plan, but we'll see! As above, if things are going that way, you'll probably have already heard from me.
Injury?: Yeah, sure, but ask first.
Death?: I'm open to it, but it'd have to be for a good reason! So, maybe.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character?: Please ask first, so I know what your character'd potentially see. But other than that, yeah, I'm up for it.
Is there anything you do not want mentioned near this character?: IDK man, not really? I mean, the 'your culture basically eventually drops off the face of the Earth and dies off completely' bomb is the biggest I can think of, but I can't really stop you from going spoilers! History! And I don't really want to, so.
Is there anything you need us to know about interacting with this character?:
1. Chaotic Good (though he swings more into Lawful Good territory by Brigantes standards) / Slytherpuff / Martell.
2. Feel free to Fouth Wall, chances are Esca won't really understand the meaning of 'fictional character' anyway since he's about nine hundred years away from the invention of the precursor to the novel. So he'll just assume your character read some historical recording of him, and wonder why anyone would record his history, much less read about it.
3. He probs can't fourth wall your character. Actually, he probably definitely can't. Are you Lugh, Brigantia or Mithras? If so, I'll ask first.
4. Esca is from ~140CE. The book he's from is mostly accurate in that regard, though later research has proven some of its postulations false (was the Legio IX Hispana eagle really in Britain? Who knows! Scholars say: ...maybe not!). However, I will hew to the book for everything historical, and then to actual history. Down any other road lies madness. That being said, I'm no scholar on the time period, so if I'm wrong anywhere, feel free to tell me! I'm fascinated by the time, and always willing to learn more!
And I think that concludes our little chat. If you've got any questions, feel free to leave 'em here! If you think you can stand more of my words, glory to you.
